Hey guys, I've got a small project I'm working on that I could use some help with. I'm not a PHP developer but am confident it's the best option for this project.
Essentially, I need an interface to a MySQL database that I can call using AMFPHP from a Flash/Flex/AIR application. The site would track scheduling and depending on how far you are willing to help with it, could be a flexible solution for a number of markets. I've looked around and haven't found something that fits my needs so that tells me it's an opportunity to fill the need.
If you are interested at all, let me know and we can discuss it in more detail.
I'm posting here, because I'm local and would like to be able to discuss it in person at some point.

Do you think it's rude or does it make you kinda lonely when no one responds? I am just putting something in here because i think it is. No one likes being ignored. Me, i don't have the knowledge to help ya and also i am not local to you but i think it's better to spam a worthless response then to not respond at all. I Think of it as a friend thing. If you asked this question of a friend then of course he/she would respond by saying they could not help. Since no one responded i assume that ya don't have any friends among the coders here. I think also that because everything is going open source/free/crowd-sourcing/outsourced that it makes real coders (not code assemblers) reluctant to give out free help especially when they live in countries like the u.s. Everyone talks about the bubble but no one talks about all the coding projects that have gone bust or the loss of American programming skills because of the outsourcing. The IT department gets no bailout. At one time outsource was a bad word but now it's something you are supposed to have pride in. Why pay a coder 35-60$ an hour when it's perfectly fine to pay someone $9 an hour from India to do the same job. Can anyone name me a law other then minimum wage which protects coders? Coders are either the wannabes that work on their own sites, the people who work for 45-60k at a small business or they are the elite working for a corporation who embraces outsourcing. Chasing down single site/person jobs isn't reliable work. If you think about it, you can understand why coders don't respond to help requests.

Sorry about the complaining there. It's just kinda depressing that people do not help each other.
