Object Oriented Programming Study Group #3

This week (week #3), we'll be looking at taking data from a database and putting it into an Object for typical C.R.U.D. type stuff

Not sure if the VNC 'workspace' will be available, but do check-out the mainly-stand-alone VNC Viewer (clinet) links below in case we do have the VNC 'workspace' set up again.

Object Oriented Programming Study Group

This meeting will let us get to know each other and find out what we need. Please come read to talk about:
- your experience, to-date, with Objects/Classes
- if you have done any OOP work, what are your current roadblocks/stuck-points
-- bring some of your OOP work, especially if it represents where you're having trouble

This topic will be for those working alone or in groups (both near and distant).

This Meetup will be less of a solo presentation and more directed discussion. So please feel free to come and learn AND come to inform/participate!

Office Nomads is just north of Pine on Boylston Ave (2 blocks west of Broadway / Seattle Central Community College). Limited parking, but a number of lots nearby and pretty good public transportation coming off of Pine St. (Pine is 1/2 block south of the building).

Office Nomads is the second floor.

Mini-presentation: Jon Bell will be speaking for 20-30 minutes on skills for integrating frontend and backend code across working teams.

IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and Framework Show and Tell: Bring your laptop and present your work-flow (not just code coloring and auto-completion). We'll break into smaller groups based upon who presents and people will be welcome to travel around the room, in order to check out whichever 'station' is interesting to them.
