Topic - (legal / legit) web-scraping and, by nature of the script used, beginning OOP. Come learn and/or laugh at the code! We are going to try using multiple clients into one VNC session as a way to 'present'. So please download a VNC client (you won't need a server, although many packages come with it): + Windows: RealVNC + Mac: Chicken of the VNC or use the built in Screen Sharing (for some insight see this tutorial) + Linux: any VNC client in your repository should work + ALL: TightVNC has both a Windows client-only and a Java-based (.class and JAR files) version that doesn't 'install' at all but runs through a browser (cross-platform). Topic - new location! Topic - Open Source Bridge, a new open source developers’ conference happening in Portland, Oregon, this June 17-19 (OpenSourceBridge.or g)

For the October meeting, we will be meeting at the Adobe Campus (in fremont) for a presentation by Ryan Stewart (Adobe’s technical evangelism team) on PHP, Zend Framework and Flex. ------------ Here is a map (http://files.meetup .com/120908/Adobe%20 Area%20Parking%20Map %20w-notes.pdf) of the nearby parking lots. You can use the visitors parking lot after 5 PM, or the paid lots nearby for $3- $5. The building that the meeting is in will be the “Adobe Plaza Building” at 701 North 34th St. There should be signs to direct people once they’re in the building (through the main entrance.) The ColdFusion user group, who normally has 5 – 10 people per meeting, is also going to join the session, to listen in on the part about Flex and AIR.
