PHP Study Group - Week 2

There you'll find our syllabus, links to online resources (including eBooks). Last week we explored the php.ini file and learned to use Teamspeak. This week we'll be getting into language basics - datatypes, syntax and logic.

We're using the O'Reilly book PHP Programming, 2nd Edition as a guideline for topics. Members can use whatever combination of books, tutorials, etc for each weeks topic they choose. More info on this is available on the wiki - members are encouraged to link to resources they found useful for each topic each week.

Physical attendance is optional. In past meetings many members logged in via irc. KevinPeno will lead discussion of new study topics and will be speaking on Teamspeak. Members may also login to irc.freenode.net in the #php-seattle channel again. (Chatzilla is an easy to use, free, platform-independent Firefox plugin for irc)
