It's moved into the second week of October due to everyone being sick and the organiser having to go to his brother's birthday. So if you want to come chat PHP this month, head down to Syn Bar on Wednesday (yes, Weds to avoid quiz night) from 6:30pm. Please still RSVP if you want to come. Sep 08 4 2008 6:30 PM	The Wellington PHP September Meetup 11 attended (est.) – 4.503 This month we'll be at AltSpace on Brandon St. We'll have a presentation from Brenda Wallace on the SimpleTest framework, and seeking a further presentation - I'll fill in with a talk on PHP-Perl integration if noone else steps up. We'd also like to hear from you! After our formal presentations, we'll go around the group and talk about any new PHP or web-related technology that's interesting you right now. This is of course optional, but just giving you time to think of something ahead of time. We'll probably hold a more formal lightning talk session at a future PHPUG if we have enough interest. Pizza will be provided (Hell), but please bring $5 if you want to eat it to help cover costs as we don't have a sponsor this month. Also please drop me a line if you will be eating so I get an idea of how much to order. See you all there! Our venue fell through (probably my fault, I've been a bit busy) and also noone offered a presentation. Instead, I'll promote an event with Mike Culver (of Amazon) at Creative HQ on Wed 19/2. Looks like yet another month with only one presentation, unless someone steps up quick to give a second. The presentation will be by Siggy and Ingo from Silverstripe on i18n. See you there! Nov 07 7 2007 6:30 PM	The Wellington PHP November Meetup 11 attended (est.) – 4.502 We have a new venue for Nov - 3months.com will be hosting us! They are located on the corner of Taranaki St and Courtenay Place, in the Saatchi & Saatchi Building, near Burger Fuel. There will be instructions on the door for getting in if you're late, or feel free to call me on 021 739 733 or someone at 3months on 498 3478. Phil from 3months will present a couple of topics: * Apache error documents and PHP (virtual URLs, auto search, virtual pages) * PHPExcel - PHP library for interfacing with the OpenXML format (creating Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in PHP) Pizza and beer provided. Sorry for late notification of presentations etc, but please RSVP one way or another by tomorrow (this is aimed at you "maybe" people) so we know how much pizza is required. See you there!
