The Wellington PHP September Meetup

The September meetup will have three presentations.

Nigel will give a quick presentation on properly handling image uploads using GD so as not to mangle them during post-processing. He will give a second talk on a database schema diffing, which will be quite interesting!

Given that PHP4 is going end-of-life and some of you might like to update your skillset for PHP5, I (Neil) will give a quick intro to PHP5 database layer, PDO, and SPL functionality.

There will also be plenty of time for general discussion and having fun!

There will be pizza and beer, but please bring $5 to help cover costs if you want pizza.

Also, if you're coming, please make sure you RSVP and let me know if you want pizza ordered for you. Even if you do it last-minute, at least it gives me an idea of numbers.
