Presentation: Design Patterns in web development by Dan Munk

This talk will look at how patterns can be used to focus time and effort in Web development. We will initially look at how common application needs can be used to shape application design, and we will then discuss how the popular model-view-controller pattern can be used to reduce complexity in contemporary Web applications.

Dan Munk has been developing Web applications for over 12 years, and is currently focused on JavaScript and Ruby/Rails.

    Thanks for putting this group together! I'd like to participate however the Social Media Club of Sacramento meets the third Tuesday evening of every month. Others in this community would find that club's information and activity valuable. Are there other dates in mind?
